Digital Tharavadu ("we", "our", "us") is a creative movie promotion agency based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. We operate the website digitaltharavadu.com and provide bespoke digital marketing and promotional services for South Indian and Malayalam cinema.

For the purposes of the DPDP Act, 2023, Digital Tharavadu acts as a Data Fiduciary when we determine the purpose and means of processing your personal data.

  • Inquiry Data: Retained for 24 months from last contact, then securely deleted.
  • Active Client Data: Retained for the duration of the engagement plus 5 years for legal compliance.
  • Technical/Analytics Data: Retained for a maximum of 14 months.

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with you.

9. Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you (the "Data Principal") have the following rights:

  • Right to Access (Section 11): The right to know what personal data we hold about you and obtain a summary of its processing.
  • Right to Correction & Erasure (Section 12): The right to have inaccurate data corrected and, where applicable, to have your data erased ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to Grievance Redressal (Section 13): The right to have your grievances addressed in a timely manner.
  • Right to Nominate (Section 14): The right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw previously given consent at any time.
